Creative Director & Digital Creator

I’m a writer and creative strategist with 16+ years in advertising. In 2019, Microsoft India commissioned me via Wunderman Thompson to lead their social media and B2B digital communication. Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse mix of brands - from SaaS and solar to coffee, cereal, and couture. My core strength is my craft, or so I’ve been told.

Deep Diver

Watch me disappear into rabbit holes of research and resurface with statistics, surveys, trend reports, forgotten forum threads, and the fine print no one else reads.

I don’t skim. I dig -

until the insight stops hiding.

Industry Appetite

I have SaaS, EdTech, BFSI, and Lifestyle brands for breakfast.

From hardcore data to cultural nuance,

I thrive at the intersection of business logic

and human behavior.

Old Soul, Gen Z Heart

Grounded in old-school craft.

Fluent in new-age culture.

I juggle influencer strategies, AI tools,

and everything trending.

Big on aesthetics.

Not so big on the boxes of language -

because when words like ‘Lewk’ and ‘Delulu’ have made it into the Cambridge Dictionary,

rules aren’t rules anymore. They’re just starting points.

Showmanship, Sportsmanship, Worship.

A known recluse yet an innate performer, showmanship feels etched in me like a birthmark. My Vedic chart readings (twice) said it loud and clear. And if astrology isn’t your thing, here’s proof enough: I’ll instinctively trade an hour on the mat in the quiet of home for a walk amidst the crowd. The spotlight calls - even if I often linger in the shadows, mine and everyone else’s.

If grace and grit make a paradox, that’s where I belong; though more grit than grace, it seems. At times a Navajo dancer channeling Wakȟáŋ Tȟáŋka on a windswept mountaintop; at others, a desert gypsy who could be Rabari, Bopa, or Bedouin - drifting through dunes, passing like sand, becoming yet another mirage. A restless, shape-shifting soul carrying a few lifetimes and many lives within one.

One breath, charging downhill at sunrise on my snowboard, slicing through powder in fierce flow; the next, edging up Himalayan heights in a zen state, maybe not as fast as a Sherpa, yet just as unwavering. One moment dancing with the Snow Vikings of Gulmarg (skiers and snowboarders who’ve been braving avalanches since childhood and know every ridge of Afarwat like a lover knows their beloved’s contours), and Bacha Nagma dancers in a snow hut to ‘Rind posh mal gindane draaye lo lo’ on my very second night in Kashmir. The next, circling Habba Khatoon all alone at the break of dawn before army helicopters shake the Gurez Valley awake - in awe of the peak’s indomitable spirit, no different from the Kashmiri poetess it’s named after. Not even the whir of rotors can break the spell of time-travel, back to the Silk Road era when caravans threaded the Karakoram from China. Transient as transient can be. Vicarious as vicarious will ever be.

For years, I’ve been living amidst the sacred energy of the Himalayas - in Ladakh, Kashmir (where I spent an entire snowboarding season and returned the next), the foothills of Rishikesh, and Himachal Pradesh. Mystics and skeptics alike call these peaks powerful vortexes of spirit; visit once, and the pull is undeniable. This way of life has made me as fleeting as a traveler’s heart, yet as steadfast as the mountains I call home.

These aren’t just photos and clips - they’re glimpses of how movement fuels creativity, how adrenaline sharpens focus, and why every mountain beat feels like its own kind of worship. Hit play and join the dance.

  • "Working with Tessa George for almost four years has been nothing short of inspiring. She is one of those rare creative minds who gets genuinely excited about every brief that comes her way. What makes her special is that her ideas don’t just sound great in a room, they often turn into reality. I have had the privilege of collaborating with her on iconic work for Canon, Eurokids, Kellogg’s, and HDFC Life, and each time she has brought in fresh thinking and depth. Tessa is quiet by nature, but her words carry immense power. She has an incredible way of researching every topic thoroughly before penning her thoughts, which makes her work both sharp and meaningful. I admire her craft deeply and love the way she layers emotion, insight, and creativity into every piece. She is also a true doer, someone who rolls up her sleeves and delivers without fuss. What amazes me most is her versatility. She can move seamlessly between categories as far apart as breakfast cereals and steel, and still create magic. Tessa’s talent, dedication, and humility make her a rare gem in the creative world. Working with her has always been a joy, and I am looking forward to the next big opportunity to collaborate with her."

  • "I just wanted to say how much I truly enjoyed reading your write-up for my coffetable book. The way you wrote felt so natural and effortless, yet it perfectly captured the essence of my paintings. Every word seemed to flow in harmony with the visuals, almost like the text and the artwork were made for each other. You’ve managed to convey the mood, depth, and beauty of the paintings without overshadowing them - which is such a rare skill. Your writing didn’t just describe the art, it elevated the experience of viewing it. Honestly, it takes real sensitivity and talent to achieve that balance, and you’ve done it beautifully. Thank you so much."
